As our 2026 Spring Spectacular Corporate Honoree, what does it mean to ORSID to support The Art Therapy Project from its early days to now serving over 12,000 individuals today?
“It has been a true honor and privilege to support the amazing work The Art Therapy Project has done from inception through today. It’s hard to fathom that TATP has served over 12,500 clients and evolved into a true leader and model for art therapy in the nation.”
ORSID has supported The Art Therapy Project not only as a sponsor, but through leadership and hands-on involvement from co-chairing Lead to Create Change and donating auction items, to volunteering at client art shows. Why is it important for ORSID to show up in so many ways?
“ORSID’s concept of supporting The Art Therapy Project is much broader tha just “writing a check”. It’s about the ORSID Family understanding and appreciating the foundational work TATP does in providing mental health services to so many in need. I’m proud that so many of my team members are willing to step up and support TATP’s outstanding work.”
ORSID was founded on inclusion, community, and care, values that align closely with The Art Therapy Project’s mission to improve quality of life through access to art therapy. How have these shared principles guided your long-standing support of TATP’s work?
“For 70 years, Orsid has been built around a culture of “family”. Families stand by and support each other in times of need. Since then, we have employed a diverse group of people who understand the importance of inclusion, community, and care. We are so proud to stand side by side with TATP’s great leader, Executive Director, Martha Dorn, and TATP’s deeply committed and fabulous staff to support over 12,500 clients.”
